enterprise integration
Verishare
project overview
The Client
VeriShare is a verification tool for both individuals and businesses to keep track of background checks, drug screens, certifications, and a variety of other employment requirements.
The Opportunity
VeriShare provides an Enterprise tool to simplify the onboarding process, track workforce compliance progress, and keep documentation all in one place.
Previously, the Enterprise tool was built on a different platform and needed to be integrated with VeriShare’s newly built and branded website. This provided the opportunity to modernize, enhance, and fit the feature into the updated brand look and feel.
With the inclusion of a new navigational piece, it also gave me the chance to evaluate the primary navigation to improve users wayfinding abilities.
Navigation
evaluation
The primary navigation didn’t provide a clear sense to where the user was. In the previous state, there wasn’t clear and consistent visual elements that aided the user. The alignment and spacing of the navigational items were scattered and bounced around when clicked on. The shopping cart was also hard to identify and too small to add a visual signifiers to the quantity state.
While analysing the Enterprise feature, it was also uncovered the users couldn’t easily navigate to purchase certain products without being on a specific page.
enhancements
To create clarity and consistency, I provided equal size, color, and alignment to all of the navigational items. Removal of unnecessary highlighting allowed the user a clear indication of page location. Added the products tab and page view in order to view all available purchase options to user with ease.

Increase readability of data
The first area I focused on was the consumption of information. Previously the data was presented in a way that lacked scannability and visual engagement. While keeping in mind VeriShare’s updated brand elements, I also modernized the data tables through design principles. Providing proper spacing, contrast, hierarchy, and organization gave the user the ability to easily scan and find information.
navigation vs data
The second area I focused on was giving a clear distinction between the secondary navigation and the populated data. By balancing the layout and providing unique visual characteristics, it allowed users to easily identify and utilize each section. For the secondary navigation, I pulled the icons from the “Your Credentials” section to aid in brand consistency and increase visual interest.
Member view
Personalization
To currently view members full details, a current user would get a small pop up of the information. In the new integration, I expanded that information to be displayed more consistent with viewing a full profile page, almost taking the first steps towards a professional social media view. I included recommendations to research future inclusion of personalized details such as team, birthday, or achievements to further enhance the connection between the business user and the member.
